Overview
Pranks, dares, and challenges. That’s the name of the game for many popular YouTube channels today. Unspeakable is the epitome of this side of YouTube, as they have built a following of millions of subscribers with videos such as “FILLING MY ENTIRE HOUSE WITH ORBEEZ!” and “WORLD’S BIGGEST GAMEBOARD! LOSER PAYS $10,000!”
Unspeakable was started by one Nathan Johnson Graham, who originally started as UnspeakableGaming and mostly posted videos Minecraft gaming videos. Eventually, his platform grew to have three different Unspeakable channels (Unspeakable, UnspeakablePlays, and UnspeakableReacts — all with millions of subscribers). And in typical YouTuber fashion, he has leveraged his large subscriber base to build the Unspeakable brand, complete with merchandise and sponsorships.

Harmful Content ❗️
The Unspeakable crew often does outlandish things for the sake of their videos. In one video, they had to complete a thousand dares in 24 hours. Some of the dares were silly and harmless, others were more irresponsible like flushing a pair of AirPods down the toilet. While they never encourage their viewers to follow suit, some impressionable kids may take this as a license to do their own reckless stunts at home.
Additionally, the Unspeakable channel is highly branded. Almost every video will plug their merch or one of their various sponsors. This is nothing new for YouTubers like Unspeakable, but some parents may find it excessive.
Language
No adult language. Occasionally there is playful name-calling between friends.
Sex
No sexual content.
Violence
The stunts are never violent, though some of them can be physically dangerous.
Positive Value 💫
The Unspeakable channel is not a particularly educational or well-rounded channel; it’s all about doing silly and ridiculous things just for the fun of it. But since the channel is kid-friendly in the sense of no violence or sexual content, the videos can be great for pure entertainment.
So, should my kid watch it?
Yes, kids around 10 and up would enjoy watching the wild Unspeakable stunts and parents can rest easy that there’s little risk of harmful content.
