Funny skits, trick shots, and stunts — that just about sums up the comedy group Dude Perfect. A group of 5 guys who started making trick-shot videos in 2009 grew their channel to over 59 million subscribers, and the stunts have only gotten crazier since!
Along with their stunts, they also do lots of comedy sketches. Their most popular sketch is their “stereotype” videos, where they act out different stereotypes for places, events, holidays, etc. For example, their Beach Stereotypes video features “Mr. Sunscreen” — the guy at the beach that covers himself in an absurd amount of sunscreen. The skits are comical, over-the-top, and (this is the best part) clean! Luckily for parents, Dude Perfect is not known for its inappropriate or tasteless humor.

Parents can rest assured that most of the content on the Dude Perfect channel is harmless for kids. However, some of their stunts can be considered dangerous. One of their biggest stunts in 2023 was breaking the record for the tallest basketball shot from a building in Las Vegas at 856 feet. Of course, they had a whole team of professionals behind them to ensure the stunt was done as safely as possible. But impressionable and impulsive kids may decide to take their own stunts to the next level without thinking of safety first. It’s probably not a huge risk for most kids, but something to keep in mind.

You won’t find any profanity or swearing on this family-friendly channel — maybe some name-calling between friends, but nothing too adult.

Violence
Dude Perfect is definitely not a violent channel; it is all very lighthearted and humorous. They do have a recurring character in their “stereotype” videos called “The Rage Monster” who is known to get angry and destructive. It’s always playfully extreme anger though and it’s usually in response to some small inconvenience in the context of the skit.

Dude Perfect is a great, wholesome channel where lots of creativity and silliness take place. They are nothing if not dedicated to their projects and they know how to have fun! These videos could even inspire your kid to create something wild and over-the-top at home with their friends.
Not to mention, lots of adults find them funny and enjoyable as well! Dude Perfect could be a great way to bond with your child over one of their interests.

Yes! This channel is one of the few that’s clean, funny, and enjoyable for almost any age.
