Plants vs. Zombies is a generally light-hearted game, although the zombies may be a little intense for younger or sensitive audiences. Additionally, some players have found the game easily addictive or frustrating as each level gets increasingly difficult. If your child gets quickly worked up from video games, keep this in mind and consider having a healthy time limit when they play this game.

Sex

Plants vs. Zombies does not have sexual content.

Violence

While there is violence in this game, it is portrayed in a very comical, unrealistic fashion. The zombies can be destroyed in various ways, including having their heads knocked up or blown up by a cherry bomb. But there is never any blood and it is very cartoonish.

Positive Value 💫

Rating:

Plants vs. Zombies is both a very silly and very strategic game. While giggling at the brain-hungry zombies, kids have to decide the best ways to keep their plants safe with their available weapons. Not to mention, it’s a great multiplayer game! You can get the whole family together or a group of friends to have a hilarious time of fighting zombies with various flowers and vegetation.

So, should my kid play it?

Due to the low level of violence and the strategy required to play, we recommend this game for ages 10 and up.
