We are incredibly excited to introduce a new Bark Phone feature for our Messages app — emergency contact mode! We know parents have been looking forward to this feature, and we’re glad to deliver it today.
With emergency contact mode, parents can now restrict their child's texting to essential contacts during specified times. So while apps and texting in general can be blocked at certain times, parents can rest assured their child will always be able to reach them.
Then, after school or at other designated times, kids can have the freedom to text all approved contacts without limitations.
This update represents a major step forward in enhancing our technology to better meet the needs of families and providing peace of mind for parents while fostering responsible independence for kids. We can't wait for you to explore this exciting new addition!
